The Fabulous Tin Strips are an Outlaw Cosmic Country band based in Bloomington, Indiana. Formed in 2025, the group brings together a seasoned collection of regional musicians whose backgrounds include acclaimed Midwestern acts such as The New Old Cavalry, Boozehounds Bluegrass Band, Flatland Harmony Experiment, and Avocado Chic.
Drawing inspiration from classic country, bluegrass, and cosmic Americana traditions, The Fabulous Tin Strips challenge the conventions of modern country music through distinctive original songwriting, rich vocal harmonies, and instrumentation rooted in the golden age of country music. Their sound combines traditional influences with a modern independent spirit, creating songs that are both familiar and refreshingly unconventional.
